Every year on February 2nd, Ground Hog Dinner is prepared and served by the church men and women with lots of clean up service provided by the youth and Scout groups.. This is has been a church project since and seems to grow larger each year.
The menu never varies and the entire community looks forward to the big feast of ground hog patties, mashed potatoes and gravy, slaw, Pinto beans, home made rolls, home made pies, coffee, tea, and punch.
Preparation is started several days ahead but clean up is finished that night! What a
busy group but what fun to laugh and work with fellow Christians toward a common goal.
This year guests came from as far away as Guatemala to enjoy the meal and fellowship!
